M.I.A.

Hello All,

snapchat-16454148463536159830651050641.jpgI know I haven’t post much for some time now. I just want to explain why. As some of you may know, I was already struggling (read Update article). About three weeks ago, my roommate has passed away. Unfortunately, the landlord and super do not care about the situation and want me out immediately. I am going through and handling a lot while trying to manage my bipolar disorder. Remind you, I have not seen a therapist and been taking meds for nearly two years. It has been a difficult time for me. I will try my hardest to start blogging as soon as possible. However, it’s hard for me to do so with the immense stress, anxiety, and depression that I am in. I am hopping you understand and I hope I haven’t disappoint any of you. But I will say this… it is not the end of Only Michy. Please keep cheering me on and I will come back before you know it. Until then, remember to adult one day at a time.

  7. I’ve been meaning to come back to this post-adulting and remembering are hard, but getting to chat more back and forth today was a great reminder! I just relate to a lot that I’ve read on your blog so far-you know my cat and me lol-she saved me from a deep depression, and an inspiration to the thought I had “ehhh would it be dumb to start a blog about how my cat makes my mental struggles better?” It’s been fun tho, and reading blogs like yours remind me how the best thing is finding communities and others to remind you you’re not alone. So I’m in your cheering section too now, relating with a lifetime of mental illness and general bad life decisions to recover from lol….nice to have company on the journey 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your motivational words. It means a lot. I do have a post called Checkers, which touch base on how Checkers helped me with my mental illness. It’s a long read, but might be worth it. It definitely talk about pet therapy. I’m looking forward to write more about that topic in the future. But thanks again, and like I always say, we just gotta adult one day at a time.
